Join us for an immersive workshop where you’ll work in groups to redesign a website. Discover the critical role content plays in effective product design, and create a redesign guided solely by content. Network with content design peers, make connections, and have fun while mastering new skills.

Workshop Structure
Zoom Meetings
This 8-hour workshop is hosted on Zoom, complete with breaks in the morning, afternoon, and for lunch. Through interactive breakout sessions, you’ll collaborate with peers to apply tools and techniques that bring content-first design to life.

The work you create will demonstrate a thoughtful, content-driven approach to design, rooted in deep inquiry and strategic thinking. Your final project will be a polished case study and redesign that highlights your design process and problem-solving skills. Morning Session
9:00 AM – 10:30 AM

• Introductions
• Agenda
• Content-first design overview
• Discover phase: defining the problem statement and starting the content inventory

10:40 AM – 12:30 PM

• Define phase: conducting a content audit, conversation mapping, and story mapping
• Presenting initial findings to the class

Lunch Break (12:30 PM – 1:00 PM)

Afternoon Session
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

• Develop phase: redesigning the website using content as a guide
• Creating a priority guide and applying UX writing principles
• Group presentations

3:10 PM – 5:00 PM

• Deliver phase: presenting to stakeholders and conducting usability testing
• Final discussions and Q&A
